Product Description

YOUDO

YOUDO is a two-axis motor for the Tooway transmission system, powered by Eutelsat's Kasat pointer FMA App.

Since the acquisition by Viasat in mid-2021, the ownership of APP has passed from Eutesat to Viasat, guaranteeing the latter a significant advantage over other players/competitors.

Specifications

The accuracy of the automatic pointing is <0.2°, this guarantees a precise installation even for those users who are not familiar with the technology and have no know-how. On the other hand, it guarantees Viasat no problem of sending disturbances to the satellite. This is one of the major advantages for Service Providers. To avoid any type of user error, the commands for using YOUDO are reduced to just two commands: Autopointing & Stow position.

The YOUDO is suitable for all types of antennas up to 75cm. YOUDO has been sized to fit the most popular antenna size. Take advantage of the modem power supply, using only the coaxial cable (30V). YOUDO is the smallest and most compact two-axle motor currently in existence. The size is only 15×26cm. The housing is made of anticorodal aluminium, which can also be used in saline environments. It comes with an instruction booklet to help you set up and also a troubleshooting guide, as first level support. Even if the procedure is very simple and short.

Quality

The Youdo engine was designed with very high mechanical engineering. The choice of materials such as Zamak, brass and steel offer characteristics of excellence and precision. By deliberately avoiding plastic materials, it guarantees respect for the environment.

Designed to be installed on the home satellite system, YOUDO, it is very compact with dimensions of 15x26cm and 7kg of weight, and the box in which it is packed measures 31x17x16cm (recycled cardboard), making it eco-friendly and easy to transport. Hence the idea of being able to install it not only on a pole on the terrace or on the roof, but also on a tripod and it can be transported, for example: it can easily be placed in a backpack for use by civil protection (rescue and emergency teams , etc.). The mechanical precision and the direct interface to the modem also make it extremely reliable.

All this makes the Youdo engine advantageous and competitive, so much so that it has no competitors
